Meet the Doctors
Dr. Tim A. Martin is a Chiropractic Physician who practices at Dr. Tim A. Martin & Associates. A center for Chiropractic, Pain Rehabilitation and wellness; he has offices in Boothwyn, PA and Wilmington, Delaware.
He graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s Degree and received his doctorate degree in chiropractic from Life University, School of Chiropractic, in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Martin received his internship training from Life University’s out- patient clinics.
Dr. Martin received his diploma in Chiropractic Physio-therapuetics from New York Chiropractic College, in Seneca Falls, New York. This was an extensive program that trained him in the management of patients with serious injuries. It placed an emphasis on the use of modalities in the chiropractic office.
Dr. Martin has received numerous post-graduate education credentials. Most relevant is his certification as a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P.), which he scored honors on the Council on Extremity Adjusting certification test. As a C.C.E.P., Dr. Martin is able to perform a global assessment on his patients. Many times, he discovers that the true cause of the patient's pain may be coming from the upper or lower extremities. There are fewer than 600 C.C.E.P.s in the United States.
As a student Dr. Martin was certified a first class fitness instructor through the American Association of Personal Trainers. He was employed as a fitness consultant at Body Designs Personal Training in Atlanta, Georgia. His work as a personal trainer sparked an interest in more than just chiropractic. That is why at his offices there is a strict emphasis on rehabilitative exercise therapy.
Dr. Martin specializes in a remarkable, non-surgical, non-epidural, drug free treatment of disc conditions, stenosis, and chronic neck and back pain, known as Disc Decompression Therapy. He also conservatively treats migraine headaches, neck and arm pain, acute and chronic injuries, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Using a wider range of chiropractic techniques, including diversified adjusting, the Activator Method, sacral occipital technique, Cox Flexion Distraction and Disc Decompression Therapy for disc injuries, modalities, myofascial release, and exercise therapy. Dr. Martin is committed to an integrative chiropractic approach to conservative care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Martin has had an active interest in holistic health. In his practice he has emphasized the need to see the back and joint patient as a whole person with lifestyle, nutritional, and stress factors as important components in successful care. He works closely with the medical community and feels that medicine and chiropractic offer patients complimentary care for spinal conditions.

Dr. Baldia’s goal is to help individuals’ live healthy, proactive lifestyles. The services that Dr. Baldia provides are Chiropractic, Massage and Exercise Therapy. He works under the premise “work hard, play harder!” Patients are treated throughout initial intensive, rehabilitative, and wellness phases using facilitated/active isolated stretching, modified yoga/pilates, and core stability training. Chiropractic and Massage (Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Neuromuscular Re-education) are utilized to achieve peak performance and preventive health, rather than waiting for stress-related problems to become chronic or more severe condition.
Since November 2007, Dr. Baldia has also been using the ProAdjuster. This computerized instrument offers a pain-free and comfortable adjustment without the twisting or cracking normally associated with the manual adjustment. Although Dr. Baldia adjusts patients manually most of the time, he has found this instrument extremely useful as a tool to treat patients who are hesitant or anxious of manual adjustments.
Dr. Baldia’s focus has always been on helping his patients continue to stay active or become active - depending on their state of fitness and health. Dr. Baldia has always been actively involved in sports and participated in high school & college cross country, track and swimming. His current passions include yoga and the martial arts (Tae Kwon Do, American Kenpo Karate and more recently Muay Thai kickboxing). Dr. Baldia enjoys watching MMA and treating MMA fighters and students. As you can see, MMA is growing in popularity and he has geared himself toward providing the best care for these athletes.
